Henderson’s top cop is retiring.
Henderson Police Chief Chip Stauffer confirmed to Eyewitness News that he’ll be stepping down from his role as chief on November 30.
Stauffer has been chief of the department for 3 and a half years.
Stauffer says the uncertainty of the state’s pension program played a role in his decision to retire.
