Indiana Governor Eric Holcomb was in Washington DC on Wednesday to talk about the American workforce.
He’s one of 25 members of President Trump’s American Workforce Police Advisory Board.
The boards focus is to solve workforce issues facing communities and businesses.
“We have 100,000 unfilled jobs right now in the state of Indiana we know we’re going to have to fill one million over the next decade. We have to make sure we’re skilled up to meet that market demand. That’s what we’ve been doing in Indiana. We got some best practices that we’re going to be able to share with the President and his team.”
The governor also left for a trip to Europe to discuss economic opportunities.
