HPD Showing Kids the Ropes at Summer Camp

News

A Western Kentucky summer camp is bringing in law enforcement to deal with the kids. Luckily for them, it’s all about having fun.

The Brain Injury Adventure Camp in Robards started as a special needs camp, but has since expanded to all kids.

This year the camp is teaming up with the Henderson Police Department and Sheriff’s Department.

Kids have full access to the campground which features rope courses, walking trails, and other activities.

Tim Johns started the camp because his own son had a brain injury and wanted a place for kids to have fun and meet new friends.

The camp runs from Wednesday until Friday.
