HPD: Two Arrested After Drugs Found at Residence

Authorities said they found drugs and firearms at a Henderson home as part of an investigation into an alleged assault.

A resident in Henderson told authorities Darryl McCray and Sophia Bolden came into her residence and assaulted her.

Officers said they located McCray and Bolden in the 300 block of Hi-Y Drive.

After obtaining a search warrant, authorities said they found over two ounces of marijuana, two firearms, 31 grams of hallucinogenic mushrooms, two pills believed to be Ecstasy, and $601 cash.

McCray and Bolden were arrested on charges of burglary, and trafficking a controlled substance, trafficking marijuana.

Both were lodged in the Henderson County Detention Center.
