Hundreds Come Out for Franklin Street Bazaar

More than 100 vendors came out to the West Branch Public Library’s lawn Saturday morning for the weekly Franklin Street Bazaar.
Hundreds more local shoppers ventured out to stock up on local goods.

The bazaar offers something for everyone; from coffee, baked goods, and fresh veggies, to homemade items like soaps, even vendors like Pizza Revolution were on hand cooking.

Those who work the bazaar say it isn’t only about selling their goods, it’s also about spending time with those in the community.
“We’re able to see more of the community,” said Meagan Delong, co-owner of Sunshine Juice Co., “We’re able to get more face time with people and kind of talk to them about our local products not just with our juice but with everyone that is set up here as a vendor.”

A free yoga class kicks off the bazaar off at 9 a.m. each week, followed by guitar lessons at 11 a.m. Musical performers and story time for kids rounds out the morning.
The bazaar takes place every Saturday morning, with the last bazaar taking place on September 19.
