Springfield, Ill. (WEHT) Starting in July, Illinois residents will need to be at least 21 years old to purchase nicotine products.
J. B. Pritzker, the state’s governor, signed the bill, officially making the change.
That new law will cover both tobacco and vaping products.
Illinois becomes the 8th state to make that change.
Washington State passed a similar law over the weekend.
