SPRINGFIELD, Ill. (WEHT) – Illinois Governor J.B. Pritzker signed a measure Friday reinstating driver licenses for tens of thousands of people.
The License to Work Act eliminates license suspensions for most non-moving violations.
Pritzker said more than 50,000 Illinois licenses are suspended each year because drivers cannot afford to pay tickets fines and fees.
