Wisconsin man arrested after 200 mile chase ends in Edwards County


EDWARDS CO., Ill. (WEHT) – A chase spanning over 200 miles ended in Edwards County, Illinois – just a few miles south of Albion on Friday afternoon.

Multiple law enforcement agencies chased a vehicle driven by 43-year-old Justin Kuehl of Tomah, Wisconsin as he fled from the Peoria, Illinois area.

Deputies in Edwards County listening to scanner traffic deployed stop sticks as Kuehl’s vehicle entered Albion city limits.

He was arrested on several charges including possession of a stolen vehicle and aggravated reckless driving and booked into the White County Jail where he’s still awaiting the posting of bond.
