They have happened in the River City as Habitat for Humanity of Evansville has been working in overdrive for years.

Next week a former president and first lady will be in Indiana to make a difference, President Jimmy Carter and his wife Rosalynn will be in South Bend on yet another habitat build.

Eyewitness News Brad Byrd sat down with  Beth Folz, Executive Director of Habitat for Humanity of Evansville, and Holly Carter, who runs the Harlexton Program at University of Evansville, and has worked on the Jimmy Carter work project in Canada and has led 29 global village trips for Habitat.
