An event to present the Indiana Arts Commission (IAC) Regional Initiative Grants for 2019 was held Friday at The Foundry Center for the Arts in Newburgh.
Grants totaling $136,828 to 22 regional arts organizations and arts programs were presented during the event.
The grants were awarded through IAC’s Region 10 arts partner, the Community Foundation Alliance of Evansville.
The IAC Region 10 area includes the counties of Daviess, Dubois, Gibson, Knox, Perry, Pike, Posey, Spencer, Vanderburgh, and Warrick in southwestern Indiana.
Indiana Arts Commission Region 10 Arts grants for organization support were presented to:
- Reitz Home Museum
- Evansville African American Museum
- Jasper Community Arts
- Strings, Inc. in Jasper
- Children’s Center for Dance Education
- The Foundry Center for the Arts
- The Arts Council of Southwestern Indiana
- Evansville Civic Theatre
- Hoosier Salon Patrons Association in New Harmony
- Veale Creek Players in Washington
Indiana Arts Commission Region 10 Arts project support grants were presented to Warrick Public Education Foundation, Actors Community Theatre in Jasper, Louis J. Koch Family Children’s Museum of Evansville, University of Southern Indiana – College of Liberal Arts, The New Harmony Project, University of Southern Indiana – Division of Outreach and Engagement, University of Southern Indiana Foundation, Vincennes University – Humanities Division, Shircliff Gallery of Art, Old Town Players in Vincennes, Patchwork Central, Evansville Symphonic Band, and Public Education Foundation of Evansville.
