Indiana campgrounds now accepting reservations

Ind. (WEHT) — As part of Indiana’s Phase 3 reopening, campgrounds will be allowed to reopen Friday, just in time for Memorial Day weekend.

Those with current campsite or park-operated cabin reservations for Sunday, May 24, will be contacted by phone or email about their options.

Confirmation letters from an original three-night Memorial Day weekend reservation for 2020, made earlier in the year, are no longer valid.

New reservations can be made online beginning at 10 a.m. Thursday, May 21. No new reservations will be accepted for this weekend before then, and reservations will require a three-night minimum stay of Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights together.

You can make reservations here.

Officials ask that you do not attempt to call the property or the call center reservation line to make a new reservation due to extremely high call volume and very lengthy hold times.

Indiana DNR group facilities, including all recreation buildings, shelters, youth tent areas, rally camps, group camps and cottages at DNR properties will remain closed through at least May 31, 2020.
