GIBSON COUNTY, Ind. (WEHT) – A Gibson County woman loses her attempt to have her 21-year prison sentenced reduced.

Ashley Sanders pleaded guilty to driving drunk and causing the deaths of Trevor Watt and James Gasaway.

Sanders admitted she had a blood-alcohol level three times the legal limit when she ran into a car carrying Watt and Gasaway.

The accident happened in Princeton Labor Day weekend of 2018.

Sanders argued the sentence was excessive, but the Indiana Court of Appeals disagreed.
