Lt. Governor Eric Holcomb has been named by the Indiana Republican Party as the new candidate for Governor in November.
Gov. Mike Pence is not allowed to run for both Governor and Vice President so a committee chose Gov. Pence’s replacement on Tuesday.
Rep. Susan Brooks and Rep. Todd Rokita also received votes from the committee in seeking the party’s nomination.
Now, Eyewitness News is waiting to hear who Lt. Gov. Holcomb will choose as his running mate for his current position of Lt. Governor.
