Indiana lawmakers backed a proposal to keep the Pacers in Indianapolis for another 25 years.
The Indianapolis Star reports, outside of the extended lease, the Pacers are also kicking in $115 million for facility upgrades at Bankers Life Fieldhouse.
About $63 million of that money is new money that would be used for improvements to the arena and related facilities, like a parking garage and a couple nearby hotels.
Fifty-two million dollars of the $115 million is money the team has already spent on its practice facility.
The bill also includes money for a professional soccer stadium.
