CenterPoint Energy Foundation announces COVID-19 relief fund

(WEHT)- CenterPoint Energy announced Monday that it will contribute $1.5 million to nonprofit organizations, agencies, and causes committed to helping those who have been impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic.

The fund will include $1 million in direct contributions and up to $500,000 in matching gifts for employees contributions to certain nonprofit organizations. The fund will help organizations in states in CenterPoint’s “utility footprint,” including Indiana. Information regarding applying for grants can be found here.
