Indiana Commissioner of Higher Education stepping down


INDIANA (WEHT) – The Indiana Commissioner of Higher Education announced that she’s stepping down.

Teresa Lubbers says she plans to leave her role at the end of the 2022 legislative session. She will also be stepping down as Chair of the Governor’s Workforce Cabinet.

Lubbers has served in the role for over 12 years. She is currently the nation’s longest serving state higher education executive officer.
