VINCENNES, Ind. (WEHT)- The Indiana State Police says a trooper was waiting to wash his car in Vincennes Saturday when he noticed a driver in a nearby car falling over behind the wheel while it was stopped. The trooper reportedly noticed the passenger in the car tried pushing the driver up, only for the driver to slump again.

The trooper approached the car and noticed the driver was unconscious and not breathing and called for an ambulance, believing the driver was experiencing an overdose. Vincennes police administered Narcan and the driver reportedly regained consciousness on his way to the hospital, where he was admitted.

The driver’s condition is not currently known.
