Justice Barrett denies IU vaccine mandate injunction

Indiana

(WEHT) – U.S. Supreme Court Justice Amey Coney Barrett denied a request to block Indiana University’s vaccine mandate.

IU is requiring students and staff to get the COVID-19 vaccine before returning to campus. Eight students filed for an emergency injunction to block the mandate.

Justice Barrett could have referred the issue to the full Supreme Court, but denied the request.
