Local car dealership donates money to help kids in foster care

EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WEHT) – D Patrick Honda in Evansville has donated $1,500 to the Isaiah 1:17 Project, a group that helps kids in foster care.

The project gives ‘bags of hope’ to kids as they enter foster care and is based in Princeton.

“One of the things that we do is provide is bags for foster families that take in a new child, this includes basic necessities toothbrush, toothpaste, socks, underwear things like that. as well as personal type items, books and things to make them feel more at home,” said Kurtis Bueltmann of Redeemer Church Evansville.

The donation is part of a campaign by the dealership called “Honda Helping Kids”.
