The 2018 Indiana Republican State Convention will be held in Evansville this weekend.

The Convention will bring together Hoosier Republicans from across the state.

“As a party that nominates and elects skilled, experienced leaders in all parts of our state, we’re excited to bring Hoosier Republicans together in Evansville for our biennial convention,” said Indiana Republican Party Chairman Kyle Hupfer. “This year’s convention will be history-making – going on the road outside the state’s capital for just the second time in Hoosier history, and nominating an all-female statewide ticket for the second time as well. As Indiana’s only Party of Purpose, Hoosier Republicans are experienced leaders, delivering proven results on our state’s biggest issues – and we look forward to taking this message to Hoosiers in all corners of our state going into November’s important elections.”

The convention will feature keynote remarks from Republican National Committee Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel and speeches from Indiana’s top Republican elected officials and candidates.

The event will kick off with a Friday Night Party featuring the Hunter Smith Band.

Delegates to the convention will formally approve the party’s 2018 platform and nominate the party’s 2018 statewide candidates, Secretary of State Connie Lawson, Treasurer Kelly Mitchell and Auditor Tera Klutz.

The three candidates, who comprise the Indiana Republican Party’s historic all-female statewide ticket, will be on the November ballot.

This will be just the second time in Indiana history that the convention is held outside Indianapolis, following the convention held in Fort Wayne in 2014.

Convention attendees include:

Indiana Republican Party Chairman Kyle Hupfer
Republican National Committee Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel
Indiana Secretary of State Connie Lawson
Treasurer Kelly Mitchell
Auditor Tera Klutz
Governor Eric Holcomb
Lt. Governor Suzanne Crouch
U.S. Senate Nominee Mike Braun
Speaker of the House Brian Bosma

Members of Indiana’s Republican Congressional Delegation

The 2018 Indiana Republican State Convention is being held at the Ford Center, located at 1 SE Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd.
