Indiana Senate votes to post the national motto in schools

(WEHT)- Indiana Senate votes in favor of requiring schools to post “In God We Trust” in their buildings. The vote was 42 to 8. All state senators from Southwestern Indiana voted in favor of it.

The bill requires schools to post the national motto, the American and state flags in all public school classrooms.

The bill goes to House for further consideration.
