The Indiana Family and Social Services Administration (FSSA) announced on Friday that it will split March benefit payments to eligible Supplemental Nutritional Assistance Program (SNAP) recipients.
Recipients will see of their March benefit amount added to their Hoosier Works cards of February 22.
The other half will be added on their regularly scheduled March date, based on an alphabetical schedule.
Due to the partial government shutdown in January, February benefits were issued early on January 16.
The one-time benefit deposit schedule for March is designed to reduce the gap in benefit payments to eligible SNAP recipients.
