Indiana State Police report that a group calling themselves the Indiana Voter Registration Project turned in forged voter registration applications.

Detectives say the group changed the addresses of registered voters without their knowledge and altered other information.

Four additional Indiana counties have been added to the investigation: Daviess, Dubois, Gibson and Knox. The investigation now involves a total of 57 of Indiana’s 92 counties.

State Police aren’t able to say how many voting victims this might involve.

Voters may not know they’re affected until they go to vote and realize their information is incorrect.
