ISP: Impaired driver crashes into several vehicles, church

KNOX COUNTY, Ind. (WEHT) – A Vincennes man is behind bars after police say he hit several vehicles and a church while driving under the influence.

21-year-old Joseph Bauer is charged with driving while intoxicated.

On October 5th, Troopers responded to a crash at 10th Street and Wabash Avenue in Vincennes.

When officers arrived, they say Bauer was driving his pickup truck east on 10th Street when he hit several parked cars and then crashed into a church.

Troopers say Bauer’s blood alcohol content was .22%.

Bauer was arrested and taken to Knox County Jail.
