IU School of Medicine, Purdue’s College of Engineering partner to help improve Hoosier Health

IU School of Medicine is continuing its mission to improve the health of Hoosiers with a new partnership.

IU School of Medicine and Purdue’s College of Engineering will partner to help students from both sides gain educational opportunities aimed at developing medical technologies to improve lives.

There are already more than 50 research projects in development. Some of those include a new Type 1 Diabetes therapy and a new imaging technique that provides detailed 3D images of the brain that can help in studying Alzheimer’s.

These collaborations are expected to boost the state’s biomedical device industry.
