Jasper Home Demolished after Deadly Fire

News
The Jasper home where three people were killed in a fire last year is demolished.

The house in the 400 block of 3rd Ave. has been empty since the November fire. We’re told the lot will be used for employee parking for Schnitzelbank Restaurant and Catering.

Last year, 20-year-old Linsey Parsley, her 3-year-old son Robert Parsley, and Linsey’s boyfriend 20-year-old Alex Snedeker died when the upstairs apartment they were living in caught fire.

The fire marshal’s office determined the fire started in the clothes dryer vent. Fire officials say the house did not have working smoke detectors.
