JPD: Huntingburg woman arrested for heroin possession

At about 8 p.m. on Thursday, Jasper Police, first responders and EMS were called to a Jasper liquor store after a report of an impaired woman in the parking lot.

Officers say that 22-year-old Megan Wehr was in possession of approximately one gram of heroin, as well as a straw that she’d used to snort the heroin.

Wehr was charged with DUI, Possession of a Schedule 1 Drug and Possession of Paraphernalia.

After being cleared at Memorial Hospital, she was transported to the Dubios County Security Center.
