Eyewitness News has learned a Warrick County judge has halted work on the Prime Foods egg farm north of Boonville. That’s after two judicial reviews were filed against the Board of Zoning Appeals.
Morrie Doll, who represents the Warrick County Board of Zoning Appeal, says a group called Warrick R.U.I.N.E.D. and Anthony Long filed the reviews, which a judge has combined into one circuit court case.
It comes after the Board of Zoning Appeals approved Prime Foods’ special use application in November to build the facility.
The judge will decide if the Board of Zoning Appeals made its decision on prime foods “properly” and allow for plans to move forward.
However, Doll says due to the number of parties a decision may not be reached until the end of the year.
