HOPKINS COUNTY, Ky. (WEHT) – A man accused of leading police on a chase will not spend additional time behind bars.
Charles Cowan pleaded guilty to charges connected with the January 2nd pursuit.
In return, he was given probation and ordered to turn himself into a treatment facility.
Madisonville Police say in January they tried to pull over Cowan for a traffic violation, but Cowan refused to stop and led them on a chase.
The chase ended when Cowan crashed on Sugar Creek Road in a ravine.
