FRANKFORT, Ky. (WEHT)- The Kentucky house approved its rural hospital bills. The bill would create a loan program for hospitals located in counties with fewer than 50,000 people.
The bill’s lead sponsor says this would help more than 60 hospitals in Kentucky with more than a dozen possibly facing closure.
The measure now heads to the senate.
