Watson and Mattingly share their focuses with the community

DAVIESS COUNTY, Ky.-(WEHT)- Judge-Executive Al Mattingly and Owensboro Mayor Tom Watson addressed their community Thursday morning.

Mattingly said he wants to focus on transportation upgrades, public health, and workforce development. Mayor Watson highlighted the city’s improving finances which included the general fund doubling from the fiscal year.

Both speakers also updated the crowd on issues ranging from a proposed non-discrimination ordinance for the county and the relighting of the blue bridge.
