Kentucky Senate unanimously passes bill that would ban bestiality

The Kentucky State Senate has unanimously passed Senate Bill 67.

The legislation would ban bestiality in Kentucky, which is one of the last five states where it remains legal.

If the measure becomes law, it will start to turn around policy in the state.

Kentucky has consistently been ranked dead last on animal protection issues out of all 50 states for more than a decade.

It’s now up to the Kentucky House of Representatives to pass the measure.
