The school year is winding down across Kentucky, but one of the biggest tests students take is getting started.
K-PREP Testing is underway this week at Owensboro Public Schools and other districts.
All Kentucky schools must scheduled the tests within the last 14 days of the school year.
Owensboro Public Schools Superintendent Dr. Nick Brake said scores have improved in recent years.
Teachers are focusing on reading and career readiness to keep the trend going.
Scores from this year’s K-PREP Tests should be released this fall.
