Candidates from the Bluegrass State are trying to get a leg up as well before election day.
Secretary of State Alison Lundergan-Grimes met with potential voters Saturday in Owensboro at Moonlite Bar-B-Q.
Lundergan-Grimes says she’s the best candidate for the Kentucky’s Secretary of State because of her track record as well as her plan for the future –
“We’ve broken down barriers to our ballot box. Helped to enact some transformative initiatives that have helped our military voters. That have helped our victims of domestic violence, absentee voters, and importantly come 2016 online voter registration for the Commonwealth of Kentucky. And folks are really excited about the work we have done and they know the passion that I have for this office.”
Lundergan-Grimes was first elected in 2011 as Secretary of State. In 2014, she ran for Mitch McConnell’s Senate seat, but was unsuccessful.
