17 indicted in alleged drug trafficking ring in Evansville

EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WEHT) – Three months after The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms executed a search warrant at a motorcycle bar in Evansville, we’re learning 17 people have been federally indicted on several drug trafficking charges.

Authorities say several residences and properties in Evansville- including the Grim Reaper Motorcycle Club- and Owensboro were used to storm meth, firearms, and cash generated from selling drugs. Officers have seized more than ten pounds of meth, 23 firearms, and a large amount of cash.

  • Central Holman, IV, 28, Owensboro: the alleged source of supply of meth for the drug trafficking ring. Arrested November 19, 2019.
  • Gary Forston, 39, Evansville: alleged leader and supervisor of conspiracy to distribute and possess meth. Arrested November 19, 2019.
  • Jason Wilson, 42, Evansville: alleged leader and supervisor of conspiracy to distribute and possess meth. Arrested on June 15, 2019.
  • Adam Lafferty, 38, Evansville: alleged mid-level distributor. Arrested on January 22, 2020.
  • Shane Lewis, 32, Evansville: alleged mid-level distributor. Arrested on January 22, 2020.
  • James Benton, 66, Evansville: alleged mid-level distributor. Arrested on January 22, 2020.
  • Brian Eden, 40, Evansville: alleged mid-level distributor. Taken into federal custody on January 31, 2020.
  • Paul Overby, 45, Evansville: alleged mid-level distributor.
  • Kimberly Wilson, 37, Evansville: alleged mid-level distributor. Not yet arrested- considered a fugitive.
  • Jesse Wilson, 34, Evansville: alleged mid-level distributor. Not yet arrested- considered a fugitive.
  • Matthew Meredith, 40, Evansville: alleged mid-level distributor. Arrested on January 22, 2020.
  • Clarence Grubbs, 48, Evansville: alleged mid-level distributor.
  • Daniel Wiscaver, 61, Winslow, IN: alleged mid-level distributor. Taken into federal custody on January 27, 2020.
  • April Martin, 45, Evansville: alleged mid-level distributor. Arrested on January 22, 2020.
  • Derek Sander, 48, Evansville: Arrested on January 22, 2020.
  • Demoreal Killebrew, 21, Owensboro: charged with conspiring to distribute over 500 grams of meth and distributing meth. Arrested on January 30, 2020.
  • Prince Moss, 34, Owensboro: charged with conspiring to distribute over 500 grams of meth and distributing meth.

All those indicted, except Sander, face ten years to life in prison if convicted. Sander faces ten years in prison if convicted.
