37 inmates test positive for COVID-19 in Henderson County Detention Center


HENDERSON COUNTY, Ky (WEHT) – Officials are reporting more cases of COVID-19 at the Henderson County Detention Center.

Jailer Amy Brady told Eyewitness News that 37 inmates and one employee tested positive for COVID in the latest round of testing. They said that most of the new cases are vaccinated individuals who are asymptomatic.

17 inmates at the jail have recovered from the virus.
