Indiana Gov. Mike Pence is passing out hundreds of millions of dollars to counties and cities across the state on Wednesday.

The bulk of the money goes towards fixing roads and bridges.

Nearly every Indiana county receives part of the $505 million from excess local option income tax reserve funds.

$435 million of that is for infrastructure.

Vanderburgh County got the most in our area with more than $6 million to be split by the county and cities.

Dubois was second with more than $4.4 million.

In all, more than $25 million was allocated for roads and bridges in our region.
