VANDERBURGH COUNTY, Ind. (WEHT) – The 911 calls have been released in the I-64 deadly crash.

Callers say the driver of the pickup truck was weaving from lane to lane on the Interstate.

Caller: “He’s going to cause an accident. Like he’s all over the road. Oh, my gosh! He’s…”
Dispatcher: “What?”
Caller: “This is the second time I’ve called. I’ve called and they’ve transferred me because I was in a different county.”
Dispatcher: “Okay, well, we’ll get this out to our cars. Okay?”
Caller: “Oh, my God!”

The Vanderburgh County Sheriff’s Office says the truck later crashed and rolled over several times, throwing 51-year-old Robert Lee Smith, of Shepherdsville, Kentucky.

The Coroner’s Office says he died at the scene from blunt force trauma.

The crash happened on Friday night near mile marker 22 on the westbound side of I-64.
