Abby and Libby Memorial Park exceeds crowdfunding goal

Local News

A park dedicated to the lives of murdered Delphi teens Abigail Williams and Liberty German has exceeded its $50,000 fundraising goal a month ahead of schedule.

People have donated almost $54,000 to the crowdfunding page for the Abby and Libby Memorial Park.

The Indiana Housing and Community Development will now match that $50,000.

The 20-acre park will be built off the Hoosier Heartland Highway – northeast of Delphi.

It will include three softball and baseball fields, playgrounds, shelters, walking paths, concession stands and the focal point – an Amphitheatre.
