EVANSVILLE, Ind (WEHT) William Bishop thought he would never see his dog again, but out of the blue, he received a phone call he never thought he would receive.
His dog, Freya, turned up at a humane society in Brunswick, GA. When they scanned the dog, the microchip showed she belonged to a family in Indiana.
Bishop says Freya had run away, or was possibly stolen, two years ago. He was very excited to get her back.
On Wednesday, Bishop was finally reunited with Freya thanks to Pilots N Paws. The group consists of volunteer pilots who help missing pets return to their families.
