OWENSBORO, Ky. (WEHT) – The Owensboro-Daviess County Regional Airport could offer new flights to a new destination soon.
Four different airlines will make the case to be the essential air service at the Owensboro airport during a public forum.
The forum begins at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday with each airline set to give a presentation. Those presentations could include proposals for new flights to new cities.
According to the airport’s Facebook page, one of the airlines presenting Tuesday, Air Choice One, will have a plane on display near the airport Tuesday.
Cape Air currently provides essential air service at the airport.
The presentations slated for Tuesday won’t have any affect on the Allegiant flights already in Owensboro,
