Allegations Against Henderson Deputy Involve Person with Intellectual Disability

A Deputy with the Henderson County Sheriff’s Office was suspended from duty without pay on Tuesday. Now, Eyewitness News is learning more about the charges the Deputy was indicted on.

Deputy Harvey “Danny” Sizemore’s charges include one count of 1st degree sex abuse and three counts of 2nd degree sex abuse.

According to records from the Grand Jury, the alleged abuse took place between August 3, 2015 and September 23, 2015.

The three counts of 2nd degree sex abuse all allegedly involved an individual with an intellectual disability – making the victim legally incapable of consent. These charges are listed as Class A Misdemeanors.

The 1st degree count allegedly involved ‘forcible compulsion,’ according to the Grand Jury records. This charge is listed as a Class D Felony.
