Anthony Hamilton Headlines Indiana State Fair Tonight

The Indiana State Fair is continuing on Thursday, and there’s plenty on the schedule for fairgoers, including a performance by Grammy Award-winning singer, songwriter and producer Anthony Hamilton.

Indiana Grown Marketplace presented by Marsh – 8 a.m.
“Join in the movement and visit the Indiana Grown Marketplace presented by Marsh in the Purdue Ag/Hort Building for your chance to support our local vendors.”

Bison-tennial Art Project Exhibit – 9 a.m. –  9 a.m.
“Don’t miss your chance to vote for your favorite. The Bison will be on display until the end of the Fair but voting ends tomorrow. Make sure to cast your vote by 1 p.m.”

Learn Calligraphy – 10 a.m. – 11 a.m.
“Ever wanted to learn how to write in calligraphy? Now’s your chance! Head over to Pioneer Village and learn how.”

Underground Railroad in Indiana – 1 p.m.
“DNR Amphitheater”

Parkour – 1:30 p.m., 4:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.
“One of two exciting shows performing in the NEW Grandstand Entertainment Lot.  Three shows daily.”

The Kenan Rainwater Band – 5:30 p.m. – 7 p.m.
“Brown County born and raised, Kenan Rainwater embraced his roots as a founding member of the popular Indiana Boys, contributing his vocals and writing three successful albums. Now the Kenan Rainwater Band evolves sonically and passionately embraces its primal nature with “The Animal” on a full set of drums on the WGU Indiana Main Street Stage.”

Anthony Hamilton – 7:30 p.m.
“Grammy Award winning singer, songwriter, and producer Anthony Hamilton will be playing the Free Stage on Thursday, Aug. 18th.  Hamilton’s Southern, gospel roots shine through in his music.  Don’t miss this critically-acclaimed R&B sensation!”
