(WEHT)- With blood drives across the country being canceled due to schools and churches across the country being closed, the American Red Cross is asking for donations from across the Tri-State.
Executive Director Theo Boots says the need for blood is constant since it only has a shelf life of 42 days and cannot be manufactured outside of the human body.
The Red Cross in Evansville will continue to take donations to help with the shortage, more information can be found here. The Western Kentucky Regional Blood Center is also looking for donations, information regarding donating to them can be found here.
