MOUNT VERNON, Ind. (WEHT) – AT&T has improved its 4G LTE network in Posey County.

A new tower site has been added along Damm Rd. in Wadesville.

In addition, an existing site along Hastings Lane in Mount Vernon now has added capacity.

This will help customers experience better network connectivity with their mobile devices.

“We’re committed to providing our customers fast, reliable, highly secure connectivity and the network expansion in Posey County is a result of that commitment,” said Bill Soards, president, AT&T Indiana. “We consistently work to provide better coverage and we’re investing in our wireless network to accomplish that.”

AT&T said this is laying the foundation for 5G, the next advance in network technologies.
