INDIANAPOLIS (WEHT) – Indiana Attorney General Curtis Hill is not giving up his fight to have Indiana’s new abortion law go into effect, by asking a federal court to reconsider.
Last month, a three-member panel of the Seventh Circuit US Court of Appeals upheld a preliminary injunction against the enforcement of the law which requires parental notification when minors get abortions.
Hill said there are exceptions where the minor shows that avoiding telling her parents in her best interests.
He wants the full 11-member court to reconsider the issue.
