Indiana Attorney General Greg Zoeller is launching a statewide identity theft prevention initiative.

Attorney General Zoeller is expected to speak at a press conference taking place at the Evansville-Vanderburgh County Building on Thursday at 10 a.m.

The public awareness initiative urges Hoosiers to sign up for a free credit freeze to protect agains identity theft.

The “Freeze Identity Thieves” intitiative aims to help Indiana residents protect themselves against fraud especially during the holiday shopping season.
