The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet plans to restrict traffic to one lane on the Audubon Parkway Green River Bridge on Wednesday.
Both eastbound and westbound traffic on the Audubon Parkway will be restricted to one lane on the Green River Bridge  in order to allow the use of a Under Bridge Inspection Vehicle (UBIV) to conduct an inspection of the bridge structure.
This lane restriction for both eastbound and westbound traffic will be in place from about 8:30 a.m. to about 3 p.m.
During this time, all traffic will move to the left-hand or passing lane in this work zone.
Motorists traveling the Audubon Parkway on Wednesday should be alert for slowing and merging traffic as they approach the Green River Bridge at the Daviess-Henderson County Line.
Appropriate caution is required where equipment and personnel are positioned along the roadway.
All Kentucky bridges get a detailed inspection every other year with long-span river and lake bridges getting an extra annual walk-through inspection.
