Audubon State Park closed temporarily to out-of-state residents

Local News

HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT)- Audubon State Park says that while the park’s hiking trails and golf course will remain open from 7 AM to 7 PM every day, out-of-state residents will not be allowed due to Kentucky Gov. Andy Beshear’s travel restrictions.

Additionally, the park’s campgrounds, museum, cottages, and main office are all closed for the time being. The park says the travel restrictions are in effect, meaning all travel in and out of Kentucky is not allowed, except in limited circumstances.

Previously, Gov. Beshear said he has officials in charge of Kentucky’s state parks the authority to shut them down to prevent large gatherings.
