Authorities: Man claimed he didn’t know how to drive after high-speed chase

VANDERBURGH COUNTY, Ind. (WEHT) – Authorities said a man who claimed he doesn’t know how to drive led sheriff’s deputies on a chase Wednesday night reaching speeds of 90 miles an hour.

Vanderburgh County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested Jamaine Sanders after they said he crashed at Saint Joe and Mohr Road. The chase started by Rural King on Saint Joseph Ave. after he didn’t stop for a traffic stop.

Deputies said Sanders tried to run from the crash but stopped when authorities said they had a K-9. Sanders said he just moved here and drove like that because he was upset and never learned how to drive, according to authorities.
